Asan, the busy market of Kathmandu, was very lively on Monday. Most of the people were dressed in red, blue and yellow hats and t-shirts. They were rotating three shifts.
This is a festival of fighting. In the beginning, the Bhadrakali idol of Vantu is brought to the front of the Annapurna Devi temple. After that, another khat of Tebhal's Bhadrakali is also brought to Asan. Then Kankeshwari is also brought in a khat and the lighted lamp is changed after making the parikrama three times.
It is also called the meeting of Ajimas. This Jatra is celebrated every year in Asan with great gaiety.
