May-7, Kathmandu || Kami Rita Sherpa has set a record by climbing Mt. Everest for the 26th time. He is leading an 11-member team of Icefall Doctors to reach the summit of Everest on Saturday, according to the Seven Summit.
The team with him reached the summit by making way for climbing Mt. Everest and hanging the rope.
Kami Rita, born in 1970 in Thame, Solukhumbu, holds the record for most climbs since 2018. He broke Appa Sherpa's record by climbing Mt. Everest for the 22nd time on May 16, 2018.
At that time, Sherpa had said that his job was to climb Mt. Everest and that he would set another record if his health helped.
