The cost of isolation of Corona Temporary Hospital in Nawalpur is Rs. 79 lakh so far

A community naturalistic hospital Razahar built as a special temporary hospital in Corona, has made public the expenditure details so far. A meeting of the district's disaster management committee on May 5 decided to take the hospital as a temporary hospital. Eight corona infections are currently being treated in isolation.

As per the decision of the central government that the quarantine should be taken over by the local government and the state government should take charge of the isolation, the Gandaki state government had selected a suitable place in Nawalparasi East district and made the hospital an isolation. The cost was also underestimated as it would not be costly and time consuming to move the existing hospital to isolation. But some structures have been built.

Meanwhile, the Community Natural Hospital has submitted the details of the cost of isolation at the meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee held on Thursday. hich, four municipalities have allocated budget at the rate of Rs 800,000 and four village municipalities at the rate of Rs 700,000. Similarly, the state government has allocated Rs. 5.7 lakh for isolation expenditure. Accordingly, a total budget of Rs. 11.7 lakh has been allocated.

At the meeting of the Disaster Management Committee, the work done by Isolation was praised. The management team was thanked for creating a model isolation of the state. Also, the transparency of the cost of isolation was respected.

The director of the community naturopathic hospital, Dr. According to Binod Poudel, no more than required has been spent on isolation. He said that he did not have to spend much as the hospital building and some beds were already operational. The hospital has the capacity to make up to 450 beds, said Hari Sapkota, manager of the hospital. According to Sapkota, the beds can be extended when needed.

So far, 337 people have been infected with the corona virus in the district. In which the number of community level infected seems to be increasing lately. A total of 327 people have recovered after treatment in the district. Four of them were recovered from Madhyabindu District Hospital and some others from Bharatpur Hospital. No deaths have been reported from the district's corona virus so far.
