July-16, Nawalpur. The newly constructed ward building of Devachuli Municipality Ward No. 4 has been inaugurated by organizing a program. The ward office building was inaugurated under the chief hospitality of Purna Kumar Shrestha, Mayor of Devachuli Municipality. While inaugurating the ward office, Mayor Purna Kumar Shrestha said that the ward office has been set up and operated at its own place to provide facilities to the people at simple, fast and local level.
He also urged the ward chairpersons and staffs to make the administrative work of the people available in an efficient manner. Deputy Chief of the Municipality Parbata Tiwari was the special guest of the inauguration program. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Tiwari said that the people would gradually fulfill their election commitments. She said that there was a problem of squatters in most of the areas of Ward No. 4 and it was up to the municipality to solve it immediately.She said that they are positive about the expansion of the tourism sector along with the self-employment programs required for the youth. Municipal spokesperson Caption Dil Bahadur Khatri was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Khatri said that the elected representatives should work for the people and provide necessary services to the people. He also congratulated and wished for the establishment of the ward office. The locals have provided land for the construction of the ward office building. Late Dil Kumari Ghale, late Krishnalal Bhatt, late Trivikram Regmi, Bhoj Bahadur Thapa and Daya Gurung provided land for the ward office.
He was also honored by the ward office. Gir Bahadur Thapa Ram, ward chairperson of the ward, said that additional facilities would be provided to the ward residents and various plans and development works would be carried out for the ward in the coming days.
