Let's eat the same food that our ancestors have been eating for centuries

At present, a variety of dishes are being cooked in our kitchen. Looking at the recipes that are available through YouTube, we are practicing to make new dishes. By watching the Hindi serial TV series, housewives are learning the food shown there. Children are greedy for the dishes as seen in the cartoons. With the rise of restaurant culture, the taste of the younger generation is getting soaked in pizza, burgers, french fries etc.

On the other hand, refrigerators, ovens, nonstick warehousing, etc. are displacing our traditional cuisine. Our kitchen is becoming a storehouse of rectangular dishes. Indigenous cuisine, dishes and products are disappearing. In this way, our taste and eating style is changing. Not only that, the tendency to cook and eat is also changing. The traditional schedule of when to cook and when to eat has been exhausted. The practice of eating fast food while sitting in front of the television or using a mobile phone is becoming more prevalent than family members eating happily in one place.

Practicing new dishes, looking for variety in taste is not a new thing. Sometimes we like to change the taste. There is a tendency to make new dishes. But it is not a positive thing that our traditional eating style is affected by this.

Our changing eating habits are largely responsible for the growing number of diseases and illnesses in the world today. In the whirl of taste, we have adopted a style of eating that is ultimately becoming a source of disease. In that case, it would be appropriate for us to adopt our own cooking style, which has been cooking in our kitchen for centuries.

Whole food: Dal-rice

Our main food is lentils, rice, vegetables, pickles. According to nutritionists, this traditional food of ours is complete nutrition in itself. There is no need for 'food supplement' after eating dal-rice cooked in one's own kitchen. It is best to have grains and vegetables produced in one's own field or in one's own area. Our forefathers made today's plate by doing a lot of research and practice. Grains like rice, maize, wheat, barley produced in our soil. Vegetables like potato, bean, bean, watercress, pindalu, rye, spinach. Dead spices like onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon. Pickles like coriander, lamb, sesame, mint. On top of that yogurt, ghee, mohi. This is the food that has been cooking in our kitchen for centuries, which is the whole food in itself.

Abundant nutrition and medicinal properties

As our traditional dish is prepared, it is also a balanced meal in terms of nutrition. It contains all the nutrients that the body needs. These foods include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Similarly, we use turmeric, ginger, garlic, onion etc. in cooking vegetables. All of these are full of medicinal properties.

Traditional cooking style

Our traditional kitchen has a special way of cooking. Especially cooking is done on fire. Iron, brass and other utensils are used for cooking. It is eaten on a bronze plate. It is drunk with water in a copper vessel. That is, all methods of cooking and eating are healthy. Change clothes before eating. Plenty to sit tight. Eating food by hand. All of this has to do with healthy eating habits.

Emphasis on indigenous food

Especially the food that is best for our body, which is produced in the soil where we were born. It is produced in the climate in which we are born and raised. It is appropriate for us to make our own food from our own farms and villages. Also, our body prefers seasonal food. Therefore, the food that is suitable for the weather is the whole and staple food for us.
