Food assistance has been provided to 44 poor and extremely needy households of Devchuli Municipality-4 of East Nawalparasi on Thursday. Rupesh Bishkarma, a local youth of Devachuli-4, informed that the assistance will be distributed by the youths abroad and in Nepal.
The food was distributed at the doorsteps of local youths by Rupesh Bishwakarma, youth leaders and social activists Bhim Chandra Gurung and Dhan Bahadur Lungeli's team. Each household has 15 kg of rice, half a kg of pulses, a packet of oil, a packet of salt and a piece of soap, said Bishkarma. Social workers Prakash Pariyar, Sanam Lungeli, Divas Thapa, Shishir Sunar and others participated in the program.
